How to get your new haxorware modem online
ok Open up this pm and leave it open, it has all the info to get you online then plug in the modem and conect to the pc/laptop via ethernet cable no coax the goto internet explorer an type http://192.168.100.1/ or copy and paste this one you will no have a menu for haxor click the settings menu and set them up like this ![]() press save and then goto frequencey and setup like so ![]() press save and goto addresses ![]() Now this is the important bit In the top box put in the mac address from below leave the usb mac as it is and in the ethernet mac put the same mac addres but chage the end digit by 2 example hfc mac 00:C0:59:E8:4C:8C leave the usb mac ehternet mac 00:C0:59:E8:4C:8E SERIAL NUMBER IS JUST THE HFC MAC WITHOUT THE : 00C059E84C8C This method works for me no tftp or config required but i still belive you need a good working mac also there are other methods kicking around for your mac address USB MAC = HFC MAC - 1 (in HEX). Enet MAC = HFC MAC + 6 (in HEX). Serial = HFC MAC without the ':'s This works for me in Glasgow pure m8 been online for 3 weeks on 20mb without any probs hope this helps |
