Default So VM were kind enough to give me a new modem

Hi folks, just a quick question, i called VM to say that i was having a little trouble with my broadband connection, and although they could find no probs, they said that my modem was a little dated, so they sent me a brand spanking new one, how kind, so what should i do with my old one bearing in mind im a total noob where this is concerned, saw in a post somewhere which says if u dont know what ur doing with these then leave well along, im afraid im not the type to be put off by idle threats lol, and will have a go at anything, any suggestions and keep it clean, cheers
