Mate, why not add to the 78 threads you've already created on your troubles? Gives people a better idea of what you've done already etc instead of creating a new thread for every question you have.

No wonder folk get ****ed off with n00bs so easily. Makes it hard for n00bs like myself, who actually put the effort in to research the problem first and read up on it, to get a bit of advice from the experienced modders.

Ok. Well it makes it much easier for people to give you advice if you keep your posts to one thread mate if it's an ongoing issue, that's my advice.

I don't know enough about modems to tell you whether it's a problem with your modem or not but an educated guess would be no, it's not. Just keep trying macs and be glad that you're online at all. Also, the speed test results are not always accurate so don't take them as gospel.

If u can get online and atleast the modem can stay online more than a minute then u r on the right track m8, just keep trying on macs and u will hit the jackpot. just keep trying.

PS: u dont need to flash it again, what firmware do u have on it? SB5100MOD is the best firmware for this modem.

Have you tried forcing a different config?

I don't know how it is done on that firmware I've never used it, but have a go and see what happens.
