One of the channels I watch via satellite – Cyprus Sat (on the Hellas Sat system) – has just changed its frequency to the following:
Frequency: 11146Mhz Polarization: Vertical FEC: 3/4 Symbol Rate: 3,333 Msyb/s The problem is with the symbol rate. My (digital) satellite receiver measures the symbol rate by Ksps, which is five digits, and therefore I can't retune the receiver. What's going on here? What's the difference between Msyb/s and Ksps? Can I convert Msyb/s to Ksps? You see my problem. Thanks in advance. |

1000K = 1M. Assuming that 3,333 us 3.333M, then the answer is 3333K.
For five digits, enter 03333. Lyngsat confirms this symbol rate: |
