try setting default key first.

you need to get them from places like the chatterbox toolbar.
you can just press menu/yellow button to get to a screen to enter them. (yellow button is TEXT may be different colour on yours)

are you sure you are scanning the right frequency when doing a power scan

Right, i have got it sorted thanks for everyones help, i dont actually know what the problem was!

But i gave up witht he key stuff etc, so if anyone has the same problem as me all i did was restore to the factory default, re-flash it, unplug it from the computer, then plug it back up to the computer, re-flash it again for a second time, then i put my channel file on, turned the box back on plugged it straight in without changing any settings at all and put it on Sk* S***ts 1 and it worked.
