Eurovox Ex1000SL Scrambled Channels - After Firmware!

Right, i bought it today, got it home, checked and as usual the channels were locked to the normal channels, all channels apart from the regular BBC, ITV etc channels said "Scrambled".

I updated the firmware on it, then i plugged it back in, re-scanned it (first i went back to factory default if that helps) then it said when i went on the channels, Please Wait, code being updated.....

But it says that for about 30 seconds and i also left it for an hour, but everytime after that happens it comes back up "Scrambled Channel" yet again.

Does anyone know what the problem is? How to fix it, if i need new firmware which one etc?

Oh and btw the firmware date i used was the UFL EX1000 v2.1 Darx 19th March

Any help would be seriously appreciated quite desperate!!!

Did the firmware load properly? Does it show a February 2009 date in "MENU - CONFIG - System Information" ? If not then the firmware aint loaded right..

Did you leave it for a few minutes with "Please Wait Code being updated" on the screen, or did you turn it off, then come back and try again? It really can take several minutes the first time it sorts the codes out..

Failing all that, try doing a Factory Restore and Channel Scan again..

Done all that, the system info says all february 2009, tryed a factory reset, scanned about 4 times, done a power scan, left it on to update "code" all night, still no luck, turned it off at power etc etc...

You could input the codes yourself to get you up and running for now

try enabling emmulation

menu/language settings/OK/ then enter 1968
enable emmulation and emm capture
exit out and put on S*y Sp***s 1 and let it update.

I tryed this but i have no capture option? Only emulation? and Emulation is enabled.

I had it on S** S**rts 1 all night updating buy no luck

when on the emmulation screen input 1968 again and you get to the nagravision screen

first try selecting your provider and set default key and exit out to see if it updates, if it doesn't you can manually enter the codes on that screen.

What keys do i use? Complete noob here

And how do i manually enter the code?
