Question please read whats wrong here

flashed a sb5100 with sb5100 mod everything seemed ok but when i go to the sb5100 mod page this whats there basic setup info ds: 439.0 mhz(in progress) us: 0.0mhz(down) ds power: 0 dbmv us power: 8 dbmv ds snr: 22 db snmp port 161 sb5100mod config backup download sb5100mod configuration file on the clone page i have put in a good mac but on the side the info is the same as the basic setup at the bottom of the page its got software hw_rev:3.1.6d;vendor:bootr:1.19;sw_rev:294.1015;mo del:e08c007 then under that docsdevswcurrentvers 2.94.1024 when i go to the motorola page its upstream channel id 0 frequency 0 hz down power level 8 dbmv where am i going wrong i did the same model for my son the other day and everything went great hes on line no probs hope someone can shed some light on this for me thanks for any help

sorry but this is a different modem the other one sorted i just tried following the same instructions for this one but i get different things happening on the 5100mod page i just put it up to see if anyone could point me in the right direction to where i might be going wrong im not trying to annoy anyone i just thought if someone read it the might have had the same prob i have tried to solve it on my own i have now reflashed this one 5 times but no good if some one can tell me im wastinfg my time great but as i said dont me to annoy anyone thanks anyway

sorry about that mate but i just got carried away trying to copy of the monitor and then write it and im starting to lose my sanity with it all but thanks anyway for taking the time to reply

its not locking onto the freq. read the 'post telnet commands here' thread on how to set your freq, annex and tuner type on this modem

did what you said mate followed your tut to the letter, it says write do that, reboot great get on line but if i turn the modem off then i cant get the connection again its like nothing as stayed in the modem thanks for your time and help

after you do the telnet commands to the modem is there any thing you need to do to make sure the modem keeps the commands, im asking cos everytime i do it it seems to work i get on line no probs, but if i take the feed out then reconnect im back to square one, then i have to do all the commands again thanks for any help

After you have typed your commands always finish with write,that will save your commands.

I suggest you learn how to walk before you run, or your in for a lot of problems m8.
