first channel scan

moved house there is a virgin feed in to the house ..rigged up my old max v..had to installl mew software on it..and done new scan ....when i done scan i got no transponders come up, so i thought it must be either dodgy box our feed not live...my uncle lives next door so i scanned channels at his house it picked up 25 transponders, i got max v back to my house and the channels i scanned at uncles house were on and able to view..so i tried another full scan at mine and i got nothing again ..any one got any ideas
