Sky's new EPG on HD boxes

Hi all!!

Has anyone elses sky HD box been screwed up with sky new 'easy use' EPG? My parents have one and it got zapped towards the end of April. However since then they have been unable to use text or the red button . I have rang sky 4 times since then and got through to different technical experts if differing usefulness. Firstly most seem to know very little about the new format but two have told me that sky are aware of the problem with some boxes and are trying to fix it and will update it as soon as possible- but that has been over two months now. I asked them if they could zap the box back to the previous format (which my parents could follow better) but apparently that's not possible!!

Just wanted to know if we were the only ones with this problem!

My box often crashes now with frozen picture and/or a squeel on the sound needing a re-boot to fix. I don't use text, but Sky News and BBC active seem to be OK.

Same here red button is fine and anytime, dont have the crashes but damn its slow :S
