Default setup

I am relocating to Lat 54.40N x Lon 5.36W and need help in setting my 1.8m dish correctly,
for ST 500 receiver, and need the angle for back frame, latitude angle, and also how to find Hot bird.

Thanks in advance.

I was hoping for a detailed instruction explaining setting up instead of a link to another site.

Are you intending to use a motor on this dish or just have it fixed on Hotbird 13E?
Setting up a dish is not that straight forward, especially when getting the angles correct, these are usually only a guide and seldom seem to be exact, it's more a method of trial and error, set up the dish then fine tune it until you get the strongest signal.
Also check the satellite maps, on lygsat.com, or other site, for the approximate size of dish required to get the various beams from the satellites, for Hotbird:

Also where are you located?
From your latitude and longitude I'm getting the middle of the ocean, on a google map, and I can't see any land.

There are detailed instructions on the site already, use the search button, read the stickies and other threads, then ask about what you are having problems with when you get stuck.

Guides here although they are referring to Horz-Horz DiSEqC set up > DiSEqC motor installation guides.

Setting up a fixed dish doesn't really need detailed intructions anyway. Dishpointer will tell you which way to point it roughly, and the rest you can see how you get on, and ask when your'e stuck.

I do not remember mentioning a fixed dish and assumed from my request for the angle to which set the latitude tube at, and the position of the clamp on an 18 “ actuator would be a “do this and that” with a certain amount of fine tuning and all would be done and dusted, not a load of waffle and links to other sites.

You didn't mention anything which is why we're asking, we need to know more details, especially regarding your location.
As I've stated when I check your latitude and logitude provided, "I am relocating to Lat 54.40N x Lon 5.36W" I get a positon in the middle of the ocean, using google maps:
_http://www.gorissen.info/Pierre/maps/googleMapLocation.php?lat=54.4N&lon=5.36W&setLatLo n=Set
Can you please provide a general location of where you're moving to, and more information on what you want, as it's impossible for anyone to guess at angles required with the limited information provided.
