I was watching a short video clip on my phone and after a while the battery gets hot and i mean really hot that if you take it out and hold it in your hand you cant hold it cauz it gets too hot, so i was just woundering is this normal or is it because it is a fake battery. i have had no other phone which the battery got hot.

I suggest getting a new battery as soon as you can. That one could explode at any moment!

It will solve the problem. As you said above, your battery is probably fake and a cheaply made chinese import. An official battery will cost a bit more but it's better paying that extra cash than having your phone explode .

Fooking Hell mate get that battery replaced NOW you don't want it exploding in your pocket and taking out your family jewels . As Blakey_8 mentioned get a genuine battery to avoid castration

I think it is a "cheap" battery mate, original batteries don't overheat like that.
