Default Cannot connect to Haxo config

Changed my mac last night as i was starting to get kicked every 15 mins or so.Once i changed the mac i cannot get back on to the config page. The connection is trying to connect but goes to limited connection or no connection.

I go into network connections right click on connection go to properties i scroll down to internet protocol
(TCP/IP) selct use the following ip address i manually enter 192.168.100.10 click on subnet mask that shows 255.255.255.0

The computer in the bottom right then connects straight away it pops up connected 100mpbs .

I then proceed to fire fox and enter 192.168.100.10 in the address bar but no haxo config page it comes up saying problem loading page.

I have disconnected coaxial and done this with rebooting the modem tried all sorts of things.

Anyhelp would be well appreciated.

ello m8, try putting automatically assign ip address and then 192.168.100.1 in the address bar [internet explorer].

If you cant get into hax then disconnect modem from feed and power. next do a ip of the 192.168.100.1 next use SMAC and change you NIC mac any random one will do.. Next Restart your computer.. Next plug the power to modem with Enet in NOT the cable feed now it will connect go to the Hax page change the HFC mac to a working one. (even if the other one worked change it anyways) save all then turn of your modem Reconnect the cable feed then change your Ip address to AUTO then turn the power onto your modem this should now connect. if it does not looks at this website..

Also try using IE instead of firefox. sometimes that helps.

Windows 2000 / XP Disabling Auto IP-address generation

ive had this problem before and sometimes sumthings change the REG and it makes your Lan network not get a lease

hope this helps.
