mate just find out your exact problem and what you need then im sure theirs tutorials all over the net on how to open and close ps3 just try google for starters should be amazed what you find

there very easy to open, pull out the rubber stopper on the bottom use a star head screwdriver and take out the screw, the lid will then pop off, then use a cross head screwdriver and take out the screws the top casing the pops off.

ps have you tried a cd lasor lens cleaner ?
