Default What size dish?

I recently got rid of my temporary 1m dish that was pointing at 1w. It was a bit of a piece of ****, and looked awful where I had it.

I have some T&K brackets and a TM motor ready to go, and now need to get a decent dish and lnb setup. I don't want anything too large and wanted a decent dish to pick up some of the popular sats. I was thinking a 60cm with a well matched lnb might do the biz. But would I be able to pick up all the TP's? I was thinking I'd mainly want to pick up 28.2e which I know i'd get, 19.2e - again wouldn't be a problem, but I'd also want 1w, 13e and 16e. Would I get these?

I am located just outside West London. UB10.

Cheers.

No you would not get 16E, and you wouldn't get he Nordic beams from Thor.

Thor 5 and Intelsat 10-02 would be marginal.

Have a look at the Fracarro penta 85cm, these look good and perform very well, from reports I've read, and you can get them in brick colour, if required.

I deal with Fracarro through work. I was going to ask one of their guys, but thought he'd more than likely have a product bias. I have tried to find some evidence of them outperforming larger dishes, but it seems a little bit of a grey area. Do Fracarro suggest an LNB to use with that dish?

I've never checked with Fracarro I have just read comparison reports, from fellow members, who have tested the Triax 88 against the Penta 85, and the Penta seems to have been superior, I haven't checked which LNB was used during the test but I could ask.

Yeah. Trying to find a well matched LNB. Google has suggested a Best 0.1db. A tech a fracarro recomended me a Fracarro LNB.

I am now thinking of either getting the Penta or the 80cm Offset Fracarro dish. Is the general consensus that the Penta is the dish for the job?

Gibertiini 104cm will out perform the FR Penta on some of the weaker sats due to it's size, but the Penta's will perform very well against other dishes of this size.
