not good, managed to get hold of a 750gb hdd with external PSU and was hoping to use it with my starview. guess partitioning the drive before connecting it won't do any good either.
back to the drawing board.
can anyone provide a list of model numbers that actually work then so i can try and track down a cheap one.

can anyone let me know if a 320gig with its own PSU will work? or is it all usb drives without a psu?

as far as ive heard it will mate! I think there are other threads saying its worked it has to have its own PSU though afaik.
