pace 4001 err 5

hi all,could anyone have any suggestions how this error could be fixed.I know the error means "Insufficient NVRAM" but I`m a bit thick so any ideas would be very welcome ....cheers

In my "residential service handbook" it states error 5 to be Timeout on receiving NIT.

NIT= Network information table, this contains info on individual transport streams, their frequency,type of modulation(i.e QAM) and the services they carry.

Check the network connection, symbol rate and frequency are correct 666.750 6.887.
Also check the signal quality in the em i.e SNR.

Connect your STB direct to the main input of the house without any splitters.

the problem started when the box was on for about 20 mins.or so,then all the channels started going missing and now on boot its going straight to err3.Sorry about the wrong err number...cheers

That sounds like a Pace box , try pulling the jumper for 30 sec that should re-set the box and reboot, that might sort the problem out, you will need to do a funcard to set your Net ID again.
