Hi all iv just got a second hand xbox 360 just a quick ? about the x-clamp fix I don’t know how old the xbox is but it has got a new warranty sicker on it is a good idea to put the x-clamp fix on to it and does it make any difference (STOP THE RROD ect) as the xbox is working fine at this time

If it's still working then wait until it fails. It will most likely fail soon if it's the first XBox 360 with the Opos motherboard (I think this was the motherboard they put in the first consoles). You will be able to tell because they don't have a HDMI port on them.

I wouldn't do it yet mate if its still got the seal on, i would wait untill it fails, because while its working you might aswell make the most of it, then worst comes to worst if it does get RROD just do the X-Clamp then

It could have been, even if it has theres more chance it will last longer if it has had it and has been repaired, so if i was you mate i would just wait untill it does get RROD, because it might not even get it, it would just be a waste of your time, so just leave it untill you might get RROD, and if you do just X-clamp it then, if it hasnt already been.
