GOT 2 AMBITS 250/255 I AM HAVING EXACTLY THE SAME PROBLEM WITH BOTH OF THEM LIMITED OR NO CONNECTIVITY. BOTH MODEMS WORK FINE AT MY HOUSE BUT HALF A MILE AWAY MY MATE JUST GETS LIMITED OR NO CONECTIVITY SO BROUGHT HIS PC AND MODEM TO MY HOUSE TURNED THEM ON AND THEY WORK SO LEAVE IT TILL MORNING THEN TAKE HIS PC AND MODEM BACK PLUG IT ALL IN AND LIMITED CONNECTIVITY
SO I CHECK HAXO GUI ON WEB AND EVERYTHING IS FINE IT SAYS OPERATIONAL SO SPOOFED MAC STILL SAME TRIED IPCONFIG RELESASE AND RENUE IT SAYS ITS ALREADY BEEN RELEASED AND WILL NOT RENEW 1 TRIED WINSOCK FIX NO GO 4 DIFFERENT NIC CARDS AND 2 LAPTOPS AND 4 SPLITTERS LATER STILL LIMITED CONECTIVITY SO LAST STRAW FLASH AGAIN HOXOR 1.1 REV32 STILL LIMITED OR NO CONNECTIVITY EVERY NOW AND AGAIN I GET A 169 IP THE HAXO PAGE SAYS EVERYTHING IS OPERATIONAL SO WHAT THE HELL CAN B WRONG WITH IT SOME 1 PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME CAUSE IM ONLY 28 AND I GOT NO HAIR LEFT WORST THING I DONE ANOTHER FOR MY OTHER MATE AND ITS DOING THE SAME PLUS I HAVE TRIED SUBBED MODEM ON BOTH LINES AND THEY WORK FINE ALSO BOTH MODEMSS WORK FINE AT MY HOUSE WHAT COULD B WRONG PLEASE HELP BEEN A WEEK NOW MY PHONE WONT STOP RINGING MAN EYES ALL BLURY FROM READING TRIED EVERYTHING EXCEPT PUTTING HAMMER THROUGH IT THANKS FOR ANY HELP U WONDERFUL PEOPLE AT WIZARDMODS MIGHT GIVE.

try connecting directly to the modem, and make sure you click repair connection, does it come up with it can't renew the ip address? if it does, the macs may not be suitable for that area

The MACs that you are using may not work in his area.

he lives in same area just about 900 yards up road

has he been cut of in the road ie cable company has pull the plug ? worth looking in the pit when no 1 is around

for certain there is nothing wrong with the flash

your friend has either been cut or he's in a different UBR no matter if he is only 900 yards down the road

reset the event log, then take the modem to your friends, let it run and tell us what it says

I assume you have returned it to factory settings at your mates house?

nah but thanks for that i will try that im 100% sure line works as i took my subbed modem there and like i say if there was a problem with macs it wouldnt say operational would it with all the lights on

Spoof your nic mac with Smac then try connect look in the downloads for it..

Also if you have a cable box anywhere try that see if the line is not dead

if that don't work then your defo cut off..

if you don't have ask your mate to lend his for a few mins.

How do you check this mate? Any pics or diagrams?

I'm due to be disconnected shortly because I can't afford to pay the bill. Do they just send a guy to the pit and unplug me or do they do something remotely? Are the cables/sockets numbered in the pit so you know which one is yours?

usually they just disconnect the mac account, but recently they've been hard cutting, its a 50/50 chance if they hard cut you
