Nagra 2 with Vplug N*L Ireland

While searching for a solution to the irish N*L nagra 2 switch i got this from another site

to get the nagra2 stuff working

have it working in mediaportal and vplug 2.4.2

using the vplug nagra2 .key formatting create a softcam key file with the following

N 5F01 00 xxxxxxxxxx... ; IDEA key00
N 5F01 01 xxxxxxxxxx... ; IDEA key01 here
N 5F01 M1 xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx…; for RSA
N 5F01 V 0101010101010101 ;

then replace the xx above with the keys from the dreambox fix hypercam key file. for M1 use the index r key

import into vplug and enjoy.

probably only makes sence to people with a dvb-c card and using mdapifilter. but at least were back in action for pc users."

I currently have tt-1501->dvbviewer->vplug->dvbsbridge->vmc I have downloaded the irish dreambox fix from this site, however i'm a bit stuck when it comes to tinkering with vplug as i never had to previously thanks to the progdvb and vplug download from this site.
I'm not sure how to create a key file, do i create it in a text editor and save as .key using the format as posted above? I tried that but no joy. If anyone could shed some light on this i would be very grateful.

Just create the file with the above info in a simple editor like notepad and save as a standard .txt file. Then rename the .txt file to a .key file using standard windows context menu (I recommend rename as some versions of notepad would save a file as xxx.key.txt if you specify save as .key)

Once you have the file then run your dvb software that has the Vplug plugin installed. Once the software is running you should have the Vplug tray icon. Click on it to open the Vplug main page. In the top right corner should be some menu icons - you want the keys one. Once you have the keys page you should see a button for something like "import keys". Just click that and point it at the file you created. Your keys should now be entered into the Vplug database.

I'd recommend that you update to the latest available Vplug version before importing the keys. There has been some major modifications for UK support and N2 support in recent months.

Where do I find the "dreambox fix hypercam key file" on the net?

I cant seem to find it anywhere. I just need the key to get cable on my PC running again in Ireland.
