Default updating channels

hi

I have a eurovox max v and i have started to lose a couple of channels ,last time this happened i updated it but had to re sort all my channels back in order whick took ages , ive read on here somewhere before that if u change auto sort to off rather than on then the missing channels will be found without having to put the rest of them back in order - can somebody tell if this is correct before i do it .

thanks in advance

Default Re: updating channels

You may have lost a few transponders of the lost channels unless you know the frequencies(depending on ur area)you may have to add these transponders on to ur box.To add these on Press menu, installation/user installation now press green button then red button then info, this takes u into the key pad if ur last channel number is say 33 u may need to add 2 more ie 34 and 35- toggle to 0 press ok then another 0 press ok then 3 then 4 press ok now toggle to save press ok on ur new page after please wait to save data message disappears ,now put the frequency number in and then the symbol rate 6887 press ok do thesame again 4 for channel 35 when all done and saved press ur yellow button for power scan and toggle to auto sort turn it to off press exit now press ur red button to update channels.Ur screen may go blank 4 20/30 secs when it comes back on it will scan all the frequencies ur missing channels should be back now all u have to do is add them to ur favourites and delete any channels that are not named.Hope this helps u out.
