Sound but no picture!

Hi All,
I bought my system just over a year ago mainly to do some feedhunting. Recently I've become frustrated by the fact that a lot ok UK feeds (BBC/ITV) have sound but no picture. I know the picture is there because other feedhunters have posted pictures! I'm guessing that what I can't see are MPEG 2 4:2:2 transmissions and my Technomate 5200D is not upto to decoding it. Is the anyway round this, ie and add on or something as I really can't afford a new receiver at the moment. Thanks for any advice.

the only way i know is on the linux boxes using stream control to watch on your pc as for your box i have not seen away round this

For 4:2:2 broadcasts,there's only one domestic satellite receiver,Quali TV(discontinued),or a pc satellite card such as the Skystar 2.

The new AZ HD receivers open 4:2:2 feeds.

like i said i use my linux box for 4:2:2 feeds with it connected to my pc i use a piece of pc software called stream control center that decodes 4:2:2 feeds but you can only watch them on your pc without added equipment
i have bought a sling catcher to send the signal from my pc to my main tv with very impressive results but at a price

Another way is a pc card ie ss2 or the HD cards.Might end up a pig trying to find the right software for 4.2.2,so be warned.Prog DVB was one of the softwares used with these cards,dont know wether your have to pay for prog dvb today???
