m8 the list of configs are on the stickies

tbh there is no force any more in most areas so your wating your time
best thing to do is keep trying macs and leave the conig and tftp blank
haxor will get them automatic if your upto date

you should have a good read through the forum m8
6 hours searching and you will find your answer

This is quite an untrue statement.

Forcing works for me, and a hell of a lot of other people here. It's always worth trying, so instead of leaving it out completely, I'd try it out if it were me. Only thing your wasting is a few mouse clicks! No harm in that is there?

For me it's autoserving that is the big problem. Every time I autoserve my modem gets stuck in a reboot loop, but by entering just the filename into the box on the Config File page and leaving the IP blank, I am able to force the higher speed configs.

So in essence, the best thing to do would be to try all ways possible. Don't be afraid to experiment you won't break anything. With your modem in a working state, go to the Backup and Restore link in Haxorware and make a backup of the NonVol memory, then that way if anything goes drastically wrong for you, ie you can't get back online cause you've been experimenting, you can just restore your NonVol from your backup and your modem will be in it's previous state.

FYI, the NonVol memory is as it says, Non Volatile, for example, the data stored on it does not get erased when you power cycle the modem, and it's where all your modems settings are stored when you enter them into Haxorware such as your frequency etc etc etc.
