Premiership live football announced for ESPN, which channel?

Hi guys,

I've seen that live Premiership football matches have been announced on ESPN but does anyone know which channel this will be on or has the channel been set up already?

Will you need to do a rescan on the box to pick up the new channel? Anyone found the new ESPN channel yet or know when it will be out?

This new ESPN channel is not supposed to go live until the 3rd of August. I carried out a manual scan last night and nothing appeared just the usual ESPN America.

I think we shall have to wait just a little longer. That is if VM finally make a deal with ESPN as i haven't officially heard any announcements to that end!!

It was posted a couple of days ago that the ESPN Soccer will be on ESPN America, meaning the US Sports fans will get shafted and instead of getting live US Sports during the Early Evening, there will be wall to wall soccer related programming

ESPN will launch on Virgin TV Channel 553 on August 3rd as a standalone channel, price at £?? per month.
ESPN America will continue broadcasting on Virgin Media as a standalone channel, price at £10 per month until August 3rd.
Virgin Viewers who got ''Setanta Sports Pack'' at £15 per month will get ESPN America and will get £5 back when their next Virgin Media Bill comes in.
Racing UK and Virgin Media are in talks to keep Racing UK on Virgin TV as an standalone channel, price at about £20 per month.
Arsenal said that its TV channel would continue broadcasting in the short term but the club will evaluate its long term viability.
LFC TV is currently broadcasting as normal and will continue to do so until further notice. However, following the announcement that Setanta GB is no longer trading, there may be some disruption to our service for UK television viewers.
