a bit lost

hey guys! slightly lost:
i have a fun card
duolabs card reader (cas interface 3 software)
Toxic 7
i have box neagra number
i have box id number
i have also long box number on bottom of box which is 24 numbers long

i am confused on how to put everything together so that i can write on the card to view it in my pace 1000 set top box for ntl


any suggestions ? advice ? help ? would be much appreciated

Right well your "24" digit number on the bottom of your box will be both you IRD and BK for that box. Which is good for if you loose your details on your card.
You need to obtain a ROM Image for your area, with this either being EX C&W, NTL PURE or EX TW.
This will be written to the card with Card writing interface.
You then need to create an Exteep file in TOXIC.
Enter your CAM ID, which you will need to find this out from looking on the forums.
Enter your IRD backwards.
So that if your IRD looks like this: 65 67 A3 87 , this would be entered like 87 A3 67 65.
Enter your BK
and you can leave they Keys blank as your image will update this if its an Auto Update image.
Select at the bottom of TOXIC which area your doing it for and press save. You will save this as a BIN file.
You then need to obtain SwapBinHex and drag the bin file you just made and drag it on top of SwapBinHex, this will make the BIN file a HEX file.

Now you have done that you can go back to the card writing interface and open your exteep file onto the required slot.
Erase your card so its blank and then write the new files to your card.

Pop the card into your box and then leave it on BBC1 for it to update.

Please anyone if i missed anything out fill me in.

The ird number? which one is it as i stated before i have 24 numbers on the bottom of the box and i also have the negra number on toxic ird number is 8 numbers/digits long?

The Rom image and SwapBinHex are available from the downloads section on the forum. But you will need 5 posts to do so. Make sure that these contribute to the forum instead of spam
For your BK and IRD it will depend on how the person wrote them on the bottom of the box. It will be either the last 8 or the first 8 that are written on there.
Just give it a go and mess around until you get it paired to the box.

Ok from reading the manuals provided very kindly by other users. i have got to a stage were i have made the epprom file and converted it into hex file know i require flash file once i get that do i just write these file onto the card and that means its all up and running and hopefully working. also some were in the post someone stated that the ird no should be written bakwards? is this compulsery ? cos i forgot to do that?

You need chaos fix nov 08, depends what you used for exteep toxic forwards, rhv1 backwards, rom image doesnt matter.

no its not compulsary but if it dont work u can try the IRD backwards.
remember: writting backwards means

AB 12 CD 34 becomes 34 CD 12 AB so they go in pairs.
