Net ID wont set on Sammy 2110 - pure

Hi All

I have a 2110 that is stuck on LD20, reset it, set home freq and symbol rate.

However it is on pure and will not set the Netid, Tried to set it with funcard, and still no joy.

The cable feed works with other boxes and has never been a issue. I have the correct box key and ird as this was a working box, it just went off oneday, rebooted and got the ld20 message.

Any ideas and help will be most appreiciated.

try the netfun id trick .... i know you may have never had to do this before in Pure ( you lot are so lucky in pure ..no real hard work ) ....but i have heard a few times this is the only way to do it ...

Try to hard reset it m8; unplug the power cable hold left,right ok and power and replug, hold till LD06 appears and let go, you might need some1 to help you, you can set your frequency in the EM and the PIN then reboot the box and let it set the Net ID for your area since you are in Pure.

but, if you read his post you would've noticed he has stated trying with the funcard.

Do as "abbs2002" has stated and it should work fine m8, sometimes in Pure the box can set the netid even if there is already one there, not from Pure.

Hi tried resetting the box to, then setting freq, it still wont set the Net ID, as I said this was a working box, when i checked the mosc card, it still had current codes, for some reason it just lost the net ID.

Is there any other way to set it ?

I have tried netID v1.6 and al 2.1.7.2 and still no joy. the box just will not reboot when you put the card in.

normally if you are in Pure Net ID set it self but if the box still shows Net Id all the 9s do the funcard again and got to the Net ID page insert the card (I know you've tried that b4) if it doesn't reboot go to the next page and pause for 15 sec if that's not any good then go to following page and pause for another 15 sec keep doing that till it reboot it self, you have to keep trying coz as far as I know there is no other way other than funcard or self setting if in Pure for those boxes m8.

when entering the IRD in NETID v2.17 does it need to be 3e first or in backwards so 3e last ?

is the sammy 2110 software different in the pure areas ? this may be another causas to why the ID wont take.

another question is that

when you change the symbol rate, it needs to reboot, the em page cant go past the net id page until a reboot, do you make sure that the freq and symbol change and reboot has been done first before trying to change the NetID ?

Does that make any sense ?

Net ID goes forwards 3e first for funcard, when you set your frequency and change the page if it asked you to reboot press ok to reboot.

go into the EM and see the strengh of your signal m8, maybe that's the reason why you are having problems getting your Net ID to set.
