Default Xbox/360 PC emulator?

After the thread about retro gaming consoles earlier this week on another forum, I had months ago actually downloaded some emulators for playing things like old amiga and arcade games.

Now while software is available for retro gaming, what about emulators so you can run xbox stuff on pcs? I mean essentially an xbox is a scaled down PC, so how hard could it be to have software to run a PC like an xbox?
I guess I might need to search the net a bit, but basically I decided I am going to build a small pc out some spares I have just to use for retro gaming/emulation.
anyone got any good links?

any good ideas (other than buying an xbox/360 as I already have an xbox 1)

not going to happen, theres one emulator for the xbox that works.....but it only plays halo...and its very slow

maybe it'll work in 10 years time when the hardware is capable of running it?

you've also got to remember, an emulator merely pretends to be the xbox/360, it still has to run the operating system and all the stuff that goes with it, just think of it as trying to run 2 operating systems at the same time
