hello mate

i to have just done my first couple modems, was your modem flashed before with infinte or haxor if so flash with the bootloader to get the p menu with softjtag
however if its hasnt been done you might need to use the consoe unlocker then the softjtag then hyperterminal

now i found with hyperterminal and this might only be me,i have the modem on when going in to terminal, make new connection, then insert values, then press ok ok now when in terminal it self

quickly reset modem (pull power in and out)then press p lighting fast you might get the p menu
but i think you have flash the bootloader with softjtag

You will need this program as you have the ALEX update..

Console Hack to Unbrick Ambit 250s 255s no tsop lift

run console unlocker then pop a new bootloader on using SOftJag

also if the program ERRORS do NOT UNPLUG THE MODEM FROM THE MAINS or its bricked!!!

Use Amchobit 0.973 beta to flash a working bootloader as this program does not seem to error for me like softjag does!
