Default Chocolate or not?

There is a big discussion at work just now on whether a Caramac bar is a chocolate bar or not
its driving me mad

List of ingredients in Caramac:
Vegetable fat, sugar, lactose, sweetened condensed skimmed milk, skimmed milk powder, butter, emulsifier (soya lecithin), treacle, salt, flavouring

No cocoa. Not chocolate.

I thought it was defined by cocoa solids ,Caramac has no cocoa solids
The only thing is white chocolate has no cocoa solidseither

White Chocolate isnt Chocolate either, some cheap normal brown coloured chocolate isnt proper chocolate no cocoa in it.

You're right. Technically speaking white chocolate is not chocolate because in contains no cocoa solid but cocoa fat which is mixed with sugar and milk to make disgusting white goo. Try some good plain/dark chocolate and a good red wine to wash it down. You can't beat it.
