Yes you will need a JTAG cable for it. Buy one from fleabay for around a tenner.

Although if you don't want to spend money unnecessarily, you won't need a jtag cable if it's already flashed.

Indeed, but a JTAG cable can be a lifesaver if you mess up somewhere.

If you don't want the expense, you can quite easily roll your own.
