Is it just mine ? Or is the remote for the ex1000sl a load of crap ? Unless you directley sat infrount of the box it dosnt work ??

No probs here, infact I can wind kids up with my PVR5100 remote changing their channels and whatching them go nuts

Again it is just yours, try changing to duracell or similar batteries.

I'm on my second one after a year and a half. Only cost a fiver (inc delivery) from ebay.... Can't really complain.
