any 1 know what i neeed to do to mod that modem. thats all the model number.

Your modem is an Ambit 256, you will need an SPI Programmer to re-program the chip.

Yes because you can get what's called a Test Clip which clips onto the SPI chip then connects to the programmer, very handy if you cannot solder (like me lol).
