Took some stuff to the tip today and saw a van full of electrical bits.
He must be the local skip rat i asked if he had any boxes and he had 3 Sammi 2110s and a pace 4000 so I had to take them for £10 each bit of a chance with 2110s.
Could not wait to get home and unloop them two of them had BKs so the other is still good for a mosc card.

The good thing is he gets them all the time so fingers crossed for a cheap V+.

Hey its recession. If I could get some boxes that cheap Id buy 10 of them, learn how to mod and flog them to the locals for £100

I would never condone selling boxes (snigger) they make very nice decrative garden ornaments ......well one does.

perhaps we could use this thread for skip forreging results, on a daily basis.

post what area your in (tw, c+w or ntl) and if you spoofed your car reg plate or not when you went. also include what day and what time you went.

we can also share techniques on how we approach 'the tip guy'

'tip terminology' would be especially handy

maybe some of the more experienced skip rats could make a tut for us noobs!

going to go down my local tip tomorrow and get an application for employment form.

thats gotta be the best way, part time of course.

bring a whole new meaning to the phrase 'taking your work home with you' lol

You might be on to a good thing there G77 ...there are about 4 tips by me i think I should pay them a visit and post the results as flee bay is getting too costly.

Id never thought Id say this, but damn I wish I live near a tip

EDIT: You wouldnt be able to get any Pace 1000's or Pace 4001's? I need something cheap and simple to start up with.Oh yeah would the "t" extension to Pace 1000 make a difference for me?
