*looking for a guide on how to flash xbox 360 the easy way*

I already have my Xbox 360 flashed, its a liteon drive and has the latest I extreme firmware 1.6. I paid some guy to do it in west london for £20 not bad for the price.

I have been meaning to learn how to flash xbox 360 for a long time now, as for when new firmware comes out i can do it myself without paying.

and i have a mate that would like his 360 flashed and i would like to try and flash his.

I did attempt to flash an xbox 360 before with jungle flasher and tried it on the liteon drive. i got some error message saying " Bad serial data"

i read somewhere that this means sata cable is no good/broken.

someone told me that flashing it in dos is much better and easier to do.

i just would like to attempt this again but do it correctly and with a simple way of doing it.
