Default haxorware settings help

i have modded my first modem, and now entering the settings in haxorware. i am using my lagit modems mac adress just to test it out. but whenever i apply the settings and go to the overview, it always stops at 'retrieve time of day' as in it says 'in progress' but then doesnt move on from it.

is it just that that takes a realy long time for the modem to do what is has got to do, or is there something wrong with my settings.

oh yh and i always switch off the orignal modem when doing it under my own mac as i know that you get booted off if there is an i.p conflict.

sorry for hijacking this post. I am very new to have a modem. I have the SB5101e with haxroware 1.1 r32 i think it is.. i pay for a 10mb line, because i don't understand how to spoof, clone or whatever with all this MAC stuff, i'm using my MAC (that i got from my VM modem) put it into the settings of my SB5101e and then forced the 20mb config that i found on here and it's working ok.. is that a risky thing to do then? lol..

Read post #2 and never use your own subbed mac on your hacked modem as VM can identify you.
