Default New to all this.

Hi i currently have virgin media and am unwilling to pay extra money for sky sports as i have heard about you can get these boxes and recieve channels for free, i was just wondering if i could get some advice before i go out & buy, which box is the best to buy i have seen starview 4, encrypter, eurovox, dreambox, also which version should i buy? also do they have recorders so i can record programs while im out? is it easy to install? how do i update the box? and what do i do when it need re-coding? please help me out guys, much appreatiated.

check out DVB Junkies UK do a serach on google for it. excellent site and it only does genuine starview's and eurovox's

yeah i got your pm mate thanks, can i buy the meomory stick from that website too? which stick do i have to buy, thanks for all the responses guys and tommy for your pm, i think ill go with the starview 4 as i want to record. btw i read some posts saying the boxes are going downhill, like the cable companys are cracking down is this true?

if your in the uk you will have no probs getting more than your money out of it from the pm i gave you give them a ring about the memory stick / hd they will tell you whats best
i do not use the recording facillity
