Default blank screen

hi guys, after recently uninstalling a game ,the screen on the laptop went blank & now i cannot get it bk again.When I rebbot I get the acer logo then nothing? can anyone hlp plz as I have only borrowed it from my mates an he dont know about the problem yet.

Hello,ritzema.
You could try hitting F8 when the splash screen shows to get into safe mode. Then you my be able to us system restore to restore the computer back to before you uninstalled the game.

sounds to me something has changed with the graphics resolutions.. try the F8 and into Safe Mode, this runs the laptop at minimal resources and should work. If not, you'll have to boot the laptop from the operating system disc and look at the various options.. what OS does the laptop use?

Hi tommy,
I have tried that but cannot get into safe mode. I have now installed win XP & I'm having all sorts of driver problems. I have just posted a new thread to try & get some help.
