Default SEcond Hand V+

Help Please.
Just bought a second hand V+ box & it's not working in my home. On boot-up it stops at with AP-52 on the box's display. Is this a Net ID issue?

If your not good at soldering and dont know how to program the 512 get in touch with G77 he will sort you out as it can be difficult and if u lift pads damage it then the V+ wont work at all. G77 is the man when it comes to things like this and he wont bite ur arm off either.
Also just out of curiosity have u checked the card if it has a valid BK before u do the 512 chip as if it aint not worth doing unless u want an expensive freeview recorder. Lol.

Greatly Appreciate your help. More info. This box was originally based in Wales I believe and now is in Manchester, not sure if that makes any difference or not. I'm pretty clued up with most stuff technology wise but, I'm a Cable 'Virgin' if you'll pardon the pun so most of your advice is way over my head. I'm sure there are loads of others out there with the same problem as myself so hopefully they'll find this thread.

Manchester has a different Net ID to Wales and as you said in your first post, AP:52 means wrong Net ID.
