Exclamation Need an outdoor splitter

Hello, need some advice from you fellow members...

I need to split my cable outside so I can drop a line into another room at the front of the house.

Currently the cable runs past the room I need to drop it into, so I was wondering would it be better to put the splitter inside or buy an outdoor one? If so where can I get one from because I cant find any online....

Any help would be appreciated.

you can take a look at this 1 m8;
3-WAY OUTDOOR DIGITAL TV AERIAL SPLITTER FREEVIEW on eBay (end time 19-Aug-09 11:55:22 BST)
I would just use a normal indoor splitter and run the cable m8.

if you have a dodgy box / modem i would split inside as not to arouse suspicion

Thanks for the link abbs2002, hmmm good point! .......ive got a dodgy v+ box downstairs but that runs off the original cable which was installed previously, and Ive got a subbed 50MB modem and vbox at the back of the house, upstairs - that too was installed by virgin.

Just wanted to move the modem to the front, upstairs - bit confusing and sounds like a ballache but I want to move it into my room rather than brothers because the idiot sometimes turns the extension plug off and kills my internet.

oh dear...

I was less subtle I stuck the splitter in their little grey box outside like they do BTW and drilled a whole in the wall outside at floor level also like they do and just ran the cable on the outside wall
