Before I go and buy a modem thats been flashed can people in the know tell me the pro's and con's.

I have seen a modem, ambit 200 and flashed with sigma. I need my internet but just now its getting too expensive £37 a month for the bundle I have.

After recieving the modem and configuring it, is it just plug in where the original goes, what do I tell virgin as I am currentlly subscibing to there 20mb download speed package which cost me £20 a month.

any help and advice pls, thanks

Well for a start mate i would get a modem with haxorware on it not sigma much better and easier to set up.
