Hi does this box work in all areas im in tw so if i get a box from ntl area is it just a case of jtaging to get the bk and ird then make a fun card with netid as my own.

they arnt ment for tw but it has been reported possiable. to be honest though i would swap for another box it would be easyer

as this box wont be able to boot up on stream (as is required for jtaging) you will prob struggle to get the bk anyways.

You can set the Net ID using the JTAG but don't ask how because i've never done it. Once the Net ID has been set, update the box and then you can JTAG it.

is there a list somewhere that lists which boxes are good for tw and which ones cant be used.
Im sure i seen it somewhere but cant remember where about.

if you short the battery and force boot the box on stream it will set it,s own netid and boot up with the old blue menu you should get the correct bk as long as you use the correct bytes for the software version ...just boot into em after shorting and check sw ver then force boot and wa la ( to force boot hold the channel down button on the front of box while pluging in the power) i have one of these from tw and it,s working o.k here in pure it just wont update at the mo so i,m stuck with old blue menu
