When using ifa i had similar problems but i didn't get as far as you , I had to uninstall my security ( ESET ) then worked a treat , try disabling your firewall when flashing

Well I wouldnt go as far as uninstalling your security, but instead press Ctrl+Alt+Del and go to processes and right click end process all the processes that seem to be associated with Eset. This is what I used to do when I have the rubbish McAfee On most security suites, you can stop protection for a while

Thanks for the replies guys.

I have disabled my security, and tried flashing again, but still have the same result. Is there a good step by step guide on how to flash using IFA? Are there any settings that I need to change or check before flashing?

Regards
Mark

Are you sure you are using the correct image for your box (i.e. 1x or 2x image)?

Have you tried using a null modem cable ? as well as your Ethernet cable ( cross over ) or transfer the image to the tmp folder and flash via the remote control method?

I had a look at a null modem cable this morning but I have no connection into the my pc for it, hence why I am using a crossover cable.
