i tried a 10mb mac and i only managed to get 1mb download even though the upload was what it was meant to be.

then i just used a 2mb mac and put the config file as cm-20480-768

now working great get 20mb.






using wireless as well lol

Just tried using a 2M mac with that config file but still only 5-6meg.

This is beginning to do my box in.

What Hax are you running i noticed i used this hax.. "test_fix_v0.4b_2MB_VM_Haxorware_1.1r31" and i was only able to get 5mb - 6mb

then i reflashed it with.. "VM_haxorware_1131_2mb_with_security"

and i did it this morning and im on 20mb download been great for 6hours now

hope this can help mate.

sorry to jump back on this thread but you do not have to mess about like this with newsgroups and thats fact

i did try this and it was better than normal torrents
they do not compare to newsgroups end of

look here @ my speed i get this and more i dont get restricted and dont have to f**k about

No, thats not true at all.

Ask anyone thats uses a private tracker.

Also, this thread is NOT about newsgroups or torrents exclusively.

If your speed maxes out on torrents or newsgroups, neither one is any better as you can only go at the speed of your connection either way.

Have to agree with cockneysean. I've had both max out my connection. The only restrictions I get are virgins constant capping.

But have to thank you sean as changing the NIC Mac trick seems to be getting around thy most of the time.
