Default Traffic Management - Do you know the extent??

I just read this from a newspaper and copied it here;

*Acceptable use policy applies: Traffic management operates from 4pm to 9pm and 10am to 3pm to ensure consistent user experience

How much of a rip off is that? 1 hour out of a normal day is the only time you can get away from the traffic management, and that is just a load of bollocks. I always knew about the 4-9pm time, but the bloody morning as well? How can they get away with this.

Discuss please.

Yeah but look at the times.

You only get an hour unrestricted usage.

Rubbish.

No mate, thats only if you are using public trackers.

Use a good private torrent tracker and your downloads speeds will match newsgroups to the button.

I myself have a membership with torrentleech. Very very good site and ver difficult to get a membership with. Seriously, you shouldn't pass torrents up until you have tried a private tracker.

I also have a membership with ilovetorrents.com, they are pretty good but nowhere near as good as TL, BUT on the plus side, they have signups open now, so you may want to get in there!

Don't get me wrong, I never get capped, but its the poor sods that don't know how to get around it. A total con if you are paying for all that bandwidth. If I were a paying customer, I would go with Be* broadband ADSL2 service. They don't cap you at all and I had a very good experience when I was a customer of theirs previously.

I've been recommended Be millions of times. People always say they never get capping restrictions.

As far as Im concerned the Virgin capping times are bull****. I get capped constantly at all hours even out of capping hours pretty annoying really.

Yes cockneysean I'm one of the dumbasses that doesn't know the work around. :-D
