jtag on a pace 4000

Unlocker a rev bod on a Pace 4000t but the ird is wrong does not end or begin with 12.
The Bk is right as I did a fun with it and the ird of the scart.
So it works good with all channels.

So I tried to Jtag it but its been that long I can not remember how to set up box key extractor lol.
Any help for a noob is welcome.

Just get the nagra serial from the EM and convert it within windows calculator in scientific mode to hex , this will give you your IRD

Its a Pace so it does not need converting I got it of the ird of the scart sticker and it worked for the fun card. Checked the EM and its the same as the scart...just womdering why a false ird comes up on a rev bod unlocker as I have never hadit before.....plus I cannot remember how to set up jtag lol.

When I done my 1st jatag on sammy I went and downloaded cable for dummies and its all there m8, and got it in one!!! as long as you use the right bytes 4 ur area

OK install OCD commander, you may have to adjust your parallel port settings in the bios to EPP or SPP or BI-Directional (try it and see what works).

connect the interface and power up the box,
run the program

For the samsung / pace 4000 set the interface settings to WIGGLER, and set the processor type to ARM940T.
if everything is ok you should have a screen a bit like the one on the OCD commander link.

This should then return the IRD and BOXKEY and part of the mac address.

I would also try Jtag while in stream,, if your BK not right. I've had it a few times now that i can only get BK,, when box in stream

I dont know whether this is relevant? but I used samsung debug tool and ocd and in there is also the bytes for the pace 4000/4010 and I have played with that too

cant remember the outcome!! as the red mist takes over

but I havnt been too challenged lately and I only have 1 machined that baffles me and thats a 4001nc
