Is there any way of taking simlock off now?

It`s locked to T-Mobile. Going abroad and thought the best way would be to take the phone with me and buy a top-up pack there to avoid the roaming charges . Exceeded the number of tries trying to unlock by code (or accidentally keying in the same code twice) and do not know what to do now

Read somewhere that it is possible to do by cable and software. Any one know where to find it? Not really a fan of paying a small fortune to have it done in the shop. Thinking of buying another phone, but hope my old phone can still be unlocked by myself.

Cant be unlocked at home take it to your local shop should cost a fiver

can only be unlocked now by hardware

Had it done now by the shop. Cost me a 10ner though.

cant see how they robbed him. sooner or later you have to pay for things in life as you cant be a freeloader forever
