I got my k800i unlocked and for some reason on the left soft key it says Ticker and when you press it nothing happens. Does someone know how i could get rid of it.

its in the settings somewhere, its something to do with your wap browser

is the phone loaded with vodafone firmware ? if it is its in the internet/browser settings

Yes its loaded with the vodafone firmware. what do i do just change the internet settings

its either in the internet/browser setting or in the phone/display settings if i remember rightly.. you just disable show ticker

i cant find it iv looked every where. Can a do a master reset will that solve the problem

problem solved updated it with sony ericsson then added an unlock patch

what do u mean by 'updated it with sony ericsson then added an unlock patch'. please explain into details how u did it.please i also have the same problem.iwould also like to know if after the ticker disappeared,it was back to the stand sek800i

sorry for the delay in writing back to you.
what i did to get rid of the Ticker thing is i had to update the phones software this means that you phone can get locked to the previous network that it was on like mine it was on orange. So then when i updated it, it got rid of the Ticker then the other problem was i was locked to orange network. I then had to download a unlock patch and i had to flash the phone again with a programme called jdflasher.
After the flash it was unlocked.
