Pace box Di400 -T HELP PLEASE!!

hey!
i have a telewest pacebox di400 - t and using funcard so i get all the channels, well few weeks back we got hit by lightning and it cut all the electrics off in the house but then all came back on, but when the pacebox came back on didnt get any channels and when the pace boxs starts up it says
PACE---- NIT---- ER11--- ER16---- ER12----- ER13

now ive looked around and seen what these codes mean i was just hoping that some one could help me fix this problem and get it back up and running if its possible.

and does any one no if i just stick funcards in another pace box would it work and get all the channels???

Hi

Sticking funcard in another box aint gonna get you the channels as you need to program each funcard with the individual box details.

The 4000t maybe you could reset box and reset netid and see if it helps.

seems like its reset // you need to go into downloads and get the files to put the network id back into the box with the funcard trick // go into eng menu and check the net id has reset it may still be in it

hey im so sorry to be a pain but my brother used to do all this but his not here now so got do it my self so not really sure how to do it it would be a major help if u could explain the best you could.... im gonna go look in the downloads now for the funcard trick.... but if u could help me out with where i have to go to check the eng menu and check the net id has reset cos not sure how to do that and what to look for so if some one could help me out id be very gratful thanks u so much.

Hi

Have a read of this to get the idea if you get stuck give us a shout. Look in the private fta section then some download links and try and find netid 2.17 if you can.

i just wanted to no will i need a new funcard or can i still use the one i have now?

Hi

You can use the card you have if you dont have another fun to use but the thing is you have to save the current files on the card first to write back to card after you set netid.

Save the flash first and then the Exteep as this is what has your box details once saved erase card a couple of times and create your netid files and write back to card. Reset box via pulling red jumper whilst power is off wait a few mins put jumper back and go into EM netid should have reset to 09999 stick your netid card in box should reboot if all details have been wrote correctly.

Once netid has been set and you are satisfied everything is ok fta channels working etc erase card again and rewrite the original files back to card.

hey thanks for the help even tho it has really confused me ill have get card reader of my brother and find the program to use and then mabye ill understand it lol but thanks for this help mate...

1. reset box/reboot/hard reboot box
2. how to get to ENG menu and what to do when there lol
