Hiya just purchased a v+ box on ebay but i only get certain channels like bbchd itv4 and a few others the rest keep saying channel not available quote 1200 when you call a friend chipped the card and says bk and net id are fine(dont really know what that means being a dumb blonde lol )
please help me out folks xxx

He obviously didn't do the card correctly if you aren't getting all the channels. Try this: put the card in, power on the box, leave the box on BBC One for 5 minutes then try a movie or sports channel and see if it comes through.

hiya ive left the box on in my front room permenantly its just not doing owt is it anything to do with it coming from a different area its frustrating just dont know what to do with it i paid 100 for it aswell

If your getting a few channels don't think its a net id problem , probably a card error as Blakey_8 suggested.

so what options do i have can anyone suggest anything not too complicated for me if it was a card problem would i not get any channels rather than a few here and there

Give the card to somebody who knows what they are doing and have it done properly!

could your friend not re-do your card for you?

he seems to think its ok he is quite clever all the bk and net id match ok he did the card twice i googledit and someone said it could be because its a different area that it come from or summat but dont know though

If it was from a different area (Net ID) then the box would show AP:52. Just give the card to someone so that they can look at it and i'm sure the problem will be sorted.
