s*k*y viewing card (FREE POST TO UK) on eBay (end time 25-Jul-09 16:25:30 BST)
Blue Sky Card FTA only. Not only more expensive than you can get one from sky for, but obsolete soon and will not work at all within a few months. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Hmmm, I might just sell my card on eBay
Just wondering for us guys on what is effectively freesat, would Sly just send out some white cards for us? And whilst I know you cant crack Sky, can you clone a blue card so that you can get the FTA channels eg: five? Or does the original card need to be connected to the receiver(Then again, I dont think our Sky receiver talks home anymore)

No you can't clone a sky card, and even if you could it would be useless in a couple of months when Sky stop broadcasting in NDS2.

Damn it. I wish they could do something for us freeview-ers
Still, when these blue cards become inactive, whats going to happen for us lot that dont have a subscription. I know you cant clone Sky cards for FTV stuff, but I thought there may have been a way to clone them for FTA channels

Ive just seen this eBay.co.uk Guides - SKY FREESAT FREEVIEW CARDS NEW FOR 20 and this eBay.co.uk Guides - FREESAT SKY CARDS
Just wondering if I phoned them, do you reckon they would give me the white card and would it work in my Sly receiver?

If you give them your debit card details for the £20.00 I am sure they will send new a shiny new white card. It dosen't get you very much though. Fiver, Five USA, Sky 3. All of which you will have through other methods, seems like a waste of money.

TBH, if I can get £21 for my old Sky card, then I suppose its not so bad an investment and how do you mean other methods?

I'm assuming you have these channels either through your cable or satellite setup ?
