ok when running softjtag to put the bootloader on the ambit 250 it errored half way through, i know that if it errors and you restart your modem, you end up briking it. so i havent turned it off yet, any ideas wot i can do.

Yes, follow the guide that has already been posted.

As long as you do not disconnect the power you will be OK.

SoftJTAG Crash fix :)

i would suggest you download Am(cho)bit config tool - 0.97beta and use that to flash the bootloader mate
